Jac was together with me again lolol. We both listed out one place that we wanted to go and made good on our plans!
Went to ION Orchard for ION Sky!!
It just so happened there was a clothing exhibition.
I didn't know the interior of ION Orchard decorated with such a classy aura. We felt so insignificant inside. Anyway, upon reaching, we found out thaat ION Sky only opens from 3-6pm daily. We were too early, thus, we decided to head on to the next place.
We spotted a makeshift garden place just outside which was duhhh, really fitting for some snapshots.
Everything looked so nice with the greenery right??
Sidetracking a little, but we happened to witness some security guards catching a thief. It was a girl, and tbh, that scene was kinda heartbreaking. Not exactly sure what she stole since we saw it from quite a distance away. Yes, it's a girl, and she was begging to be let off with the item rather pathetically. Feeling sorry for her was one thing, but there are the rules. I don't know what drove her to do that (want? greed?) but I really hope she realizes her mistake and repents. Hopefully her punishment wasn't so great. >.< People, please do not steal no matter how much you want something or whatever the reason is okay?
Wanted to enter the SEAGAMES pop-up store but decided against it due to limited time.
And yes! Finally arrived at library@orchard!! I have wanted to visit it since I saw those architectural photos of the interior on IG. BTW, it occupies the 3rd and 4th level of Orchard Gateway. So don't go marching on to Ngee Ann City so happily lol, because that was what we did. Hahaha. Oh well, more exercise.
(The previous Orchard library which was situated on the 5th level of Ngee Ann City closed down in 2007, and I apparently did not search Google more specifically. So just imagine our surprise when we arrived there. LOLOL. Foolishness ttm.)
There was this lady who asked us if it was okay to take photos in the library. Hahaha. I guess she's a tourist.
Where they stored audio CDs! Even those shelves had much effort put in.
It also had some cocoon seats which look super comfy on the 5th level but I was too ps to snap some photos when people were so engrossed in their work. I'd lovvveee to sit in those seats and just chillax with a book. Hahaha.
Headed back to ION Sky. YAYYYY!
They happened to have this photography exhibition at the queuing area which showcased some really meaningful photos.
There was this Salt Grill Bar restaurant located in ION Sky. Damn good view to have while eating.
