Hola! Did you enjoy my first adventure post? Hehehe. I'd would be really happy and thankful if you guys did. After all, I did walk for a few hours without rest under that horrendous sun for a few hours. Made myself so sweaty and sticky too. That aside, I'm back with another adventure post! Hahaha.
This time, I went with one of my closest friend, Jac. I guess you all should know her by now if you have been reading my blog. If not, time for you to start reading those previous posts.
This adventure could have fallen through 'cos we were half serious about it lol. Initially, it was supposed to be the three of us, but one couldn't make it. It was a pretty long and tiring day too, since we had to go to school for DC photoshoot first. (photoshoot pictures 'll be up in the next post! otherwise this would be too lengthy.) Jac turned up in her slippers, just goes to show weak our resolve was hahaha. I think she proposed that we go Holland Village and quite a lot of cafes were situated there, so off we went!
Pardon me, I thought it read 'Goad'. It's just a few minutes walk from the MRT station. This was actually the back entrance hahaha.

D' Good Cafe has three levels, two of which are air-conditioned. We were kinda lost when we first went in, 'cos there were so many flights of stairs in addition to the nooks and crannies that they have.
After a bit of confusion, we settled at level 3.
Ordered jasmine green tea
These are a set! Quite ex btw, but this isn't the main point 'cos the prices in cafes are around the same range. The service was slow. I had to wait 30 mins just for the waffles. Whatttt. And my friend got her food first when I was the one who ordered before her.
This is her sandwich with ham and jam which has a 'unique' taste. Simply put, we were disappointed in the food.
They have two swing seats which were sadly, occupied. Level 3 is a good environment for studying.
She thought I was snapchatting hah.
Went exploring the cafe after eating.
If I had wings...
4th level: canopy
Don't know how to pose properly with such a nice background lol.
Look at that guy hahaah.
2nd level where the counter and some seats are.
Overall, it's an awesome place if you want to take insta-worthy photos, but the food? Not so.
After exiting D' Good Cafe, this time from the front entrance, we found Hatched. It was a cafe we both wnted to check out. Immediately regretted eating at D' Good Cafe. -.-
Have offer for students somemore. Tsktsk. We'll come back for you!
Saw angmoh family! ^^
Walking down Holland Ave.
Decided to buy cupcakes from Plain Vanilla for our dear friend!
This outlet has limited choices compared to the one at Tiong Bahru, but this shop assistant was really friendly!
And they had one brow salon next to Plain Vanilla lolol, So if you wanna eat cupcakes after doing your brows or vice versa, you can go there. Hahaha.
Adventure outfit for the day!
Another cafe.
As we made a dinner date with our dear friend to eat kbbq 'cos the cafe food didn't satisfy us, we were on our way to Orchard Central where the place was.
In the lift of Orchard Gateway.
Uhhrm, we got very much lost and ended up at the level 7 of Orchard Gateway's carpark LMAO. When we entered Orchard Gateway I still asked this girl, 'is this one meh? this one is gateway what.' In the end, we spent close to half an hour just searching for OC. Cannot tahan ourselves seriously. We are hopeless direction idiots.
FINALLY. \(o.o)/
Muscular people training for MMAs. Heh heh.
View from the seventh floor.
DIG INNNN!!! Xy's friend - Le Ting, came along too and so the four of us ate together!
Not a lot of food pics 'cos my phone was running out of life.
Made kimchi fried rice at the very end. Their kimchi was very spicy. Really enjoyed the meal there as it was buffet style! - VERY IMPT. And affordable! Except the placement of the grill was too close to the seats so we all kept getting scalded with flying drops of oil. The place has loads of good reviews and it was very crowded during dinner. In case you guys are finding a good kbbq place to eat, details are below. Our total bill was $100++.

Walked off some food to Plaza Sing.
Cannot believe they still had stomach for ice-cream. Didn't spend any money but xy's friend couldn't take the strong milky taste and gave her ice-cream to jac and me hahah. It's damn good. But if you can't stand creamy or don't like milk, you probably won't want to try this because the milk tast is very strong. Though it does get better after you keep on eating it. Turns out I still had stomach for some ice-cream. :P #cannotwastefood
This guy was playing the erhu. Pretty good!
'Twas a tiring yet satisfying and fun-filled day!
Lastly, follow my IG acc @xvanneex for more step pics! Haha.
