Hello! So during the December holidays, I had a proper family dinner outside. ^^ It has been so long since we had one as I was in my rebellious stage of adolescence ( which was quite a few years already ). After that, many unhappy stuff happened so I'm REALLY glad that 2014 is over.
Sooo, my family and I went to Thai Express at Yishun Point! Hehehe. Oh, I remember I was still rushing my Sociology project that day so I asked my parents to go on ahead first. My brother also stayed at home for more time to play his computer games. See what I mean by rebellious stage? After which I wore a dress which was easy to match and took no effort to look dressed up. Ugh, that was also a buy I regretted purchasing at Cotton On for $29.95. Because right after that I saw similar dresses at H&M for only $24.95?? OHMYGODDD. I'll remember to step into H&M first next time. Forever a H&M fan!
I've been to Thai Express a twice but didn't really try out much of their dishes so now's the time!
Ordered this Green Curry Laksa for myself. ^^ It isn't very spicy for me but I nearly couldn't finish it 'cos I didn't feel hungry. I think they put too much coconut in it though. Probably another reason why I nearly couldn't finish it.
What my mother ate! It was damn delicious! Sedap! Haha. But I can't recall the name but I remember it had a spiciness level of three chilli symbols was it? Oops. Definitely worth a try.
My brother's Tom Yum fried rice. Also awesome!
This prawn omelette with that sour and spicy sauce at the side complements each other well! I should have ordered that for myself instead...
My bro sampling the Tom Yum seafood soup which broke my spiciness scale! I'm serious. And he was still acting like it's no big deal. What a big shot. Tsk. After a few mouthfuls, he couldn't resist drinking some water lol. But, if you really like spicy food, then you'll surely enjoy that soup! Sorry there's no photo of it 'cos I forgot haha. And that's all we had for food.
Got to get a perfect angle 'ya know? -inserts laughing emoji-
My mango juice!! It was so rich in flavour and you can totally taste the mango. Not like those diluted fruit juices at those fruit juice stalls. Just look at the texture!
His chendol drink which was not bad at all but my bro didn't like it even though he chose it.
Hm, so I ended up finishing like almost ALL of it for him while he drank like 3/4 of my mango drink. :/
Haha, some coffee?
Too full to finish it in the restaurant. My stomach felt like bursting.
First with the knights in the family.
Oh no, see those railway tracks. :( Get it??
We are the act cute family. :*
Here's our family portrait! Hehehe. Finally a proper one in like 10 years?! Not even kidding.
To more family outings! :*
-peace-
