More posts comin' soon!

Hey people! I know I haven't been updating again but what can I say? Poly life... You'll definitely find yourself in the same situation as me if you're in NYP AND NURSING. I've been on attachment for the last two weeks. And no, attachment is similar but not the same as internship alright. Attachment is just a few weeks at a time while internships takes up to months. Anyways, I'm left with one week before the three weeks attachment finally ends. I feel better than my first attachment; not so much like a useless person idling around but I actually know the workflow and how everything goes around here. So yeah, that's one good thing 'bout this time's attachment.

Sad thing is, a few of the people who worked in the same ward as me previously applied for sponsorship at another hospital. So, can't see them at NUH anymore. But, there were a few additions which made my attachment liven up just a little. (That little bit makes a lot btw.) I find the attachment this time round is also not as chaotic as the previous one. Because we would've to change cubicle partners every week but I'm sticking to the same partner for the whole 3 weeks this time round. It's makes communication easier, plus, you get familar with the environment and the staff who work in the same cubicle. Once you get familiar with them, not only they will be more willing to teach you, but YOU will also gain more courage to learn and try new skills. That's another good point down.

I really find that the staff in the ward is so much friendlier? I'm not trying to put down anybody or anything but just voicing my thoughts. And I'm so thankful for that. Even our CI is more open to stuff. She's very nice!

Arghhh, the only part is.. I've yet to do most of the skills that we should do in Year 1. Now that, is very worrying. Alright, talk to you guys more over the weekend! I'm on morning shift. T.T

-peace-
