VEGAN BURG.!

  Yo people! I've been so tired since December started that I kept on waking up late. I'd set my alarm at 6 or 6.30 a.m. only to wake 1/2 or an hour later. Terrible, huh. Sometimes, I'd wake up with the clock reaching the timing I needed to leave the house. Tsk. So frustrated with myself. I really need to finish up all those ICAs. Needless to say, we're all eager for holidays! Whee! (really can't wait)

Moving on, here's another update from Nov! I met up with WY and MY 'cause they said they wanted to pass me my present lol. (Hmmm, but someone didn't bring my present) Yeah, you read that right. That's what happens when everyone's busy. You get super belated presents. And yes, there're still some pending presents. -shrugs shoulders- Not that I'm complaining because I've already gotten used to it. Haha.

 

We took the MRT to CCK and then took a bus to The Grandstand. It was still raining when we got off the bus. Since it was our first time going to the place, we walked a fair bit of distance while asking passer-bys along the way.

 

I was quite irritated on our way there 'cause my ankle was still hurting at that time. Plus, the route there was uneven with a long slope even. -.- The weather didn't help matters too. Imagine being me at that time.

 

On our way there, we saw an indoor soccer field with a big bunch of children! Some of them were angmohs! So cute. Hahaha.

 

However, we still got lost after reaching The Grandstand lol. We couldn't find the exact location of VEGAN BURGER - our premeditated destination for dinner.

Thus, we ended up walking around the place for two to three times before we discovered it. Honestly, it was kind of hidden away.

 

 

 We were so thankful for a place to finally sit down. I liked the interior of the restaurant as it gave off a neat and clean feeling. Cosy even. The tables were white yeah, with compartments under the table for magazines. Which means to say you have to wait a little while for your food...

All our scepticism about Vegan Burger vanished once we ate. It still amazes me how some vegetarian food can taste so delicious that it's on par with normal food. We all agreed that everyone's food tasted scrumptious. We know 'cause we exchanged bites haha.

 

I would say that the journey there was worth it. The place was pretty empty, so it's nice if you want to eat there with a bunch of friends. You can talk and laugh however much you want haha.

 

Glad that I could catch up quite a little with them. I love how my sec sch clique can always talk nonsense together hahaha. Okay bye!
