Just a recollection of memories. We had a load of fun but I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Photos were not taken by me lol, 'cos my phone's battery was gonna die. I simply took whatever whatsapp photos that I could find haha.
Pasir Ris Park.
Look who is that philosophical person.
Our head cook for the day!
(I like whoever's phone that took the above photos. Superb quality.)
After barbecuing a while, the clouds couldn't hold out any longer and rained on us. So we sought shelter.
Only some of us were under the shelter 'cause there was limited space. Some of the others were still at the barbecue pit with those pasar malam kinda material as shelter.
After a while, the rain softened and we went out to play again! We couldn't let the weather beat us back after all the preparations we did. So we barbecued under the rain. HAhaha.
And I can tell you that half the class was wet not by rainwater but by tap water lol. 'Cause we played water balloons! Since the water balloons couldn't burst well when thrown, we switched to using empty bottles and whatever we could find to store water and splash it on others hahaha. Super fun. But I got splashed quite a number of times. The last time was with a tub full of ice water. I guess that decided my ALS ice bucket challenge hahaha.
Most of the class left when it was nearing 9pm. I was kinda surprised actually 'cause BBQs usually don't end so early for me haha. So some of us were left, including me!
A few of the boys who stayed back took down the tent.
We started playing sparkles which one of our classmate brought.
And then we took the long route on the way back to the MRT station 'cause a few of them wanted to see the suicide tower there. The route was freaking dark, no joke. There were no lamp lights and no signs of any other soul around except us. It was the perfect location for some crimes to be committed. And re-laxxx, we didn't actually go to the tower, we just got a glimpse of it. There have been stories quite a few stories about the people who went there though. I googled it after I went home 'cause I only knew about that place after that day.
We were all pretty relieved to have exited the park and reached the station.
I like riding trains from Pasir Ris back home at night! Because look! So emptyyy.
Memorable day! Thanks to the Macrophages team and a few others for organising this outing! I'm really glad that all of us could make it; even bringing along a few of their other friends.
-Peace-
