Town date ~ Raise your voices.

Hello guys! I'm back with another post! I've been seeing lotsa IG posts about cafes and I haven't really been to one. Been asking around if any of my friends are free for the longest time and finally got a date with Hamie! It was quite a packed day. What with café, photo-taking, dance, and 'shopping'.

I actually did some editing to a few food photos because the photos seemed dark in my phone. But when I transferred the originals here, it looked okay! So I'm going to leave it as it is.

We met at Cineleisure for a movie at Cathay first. STEP UP ALL IN whoohoo~

Okay, in case you guys don't know, the escalators in Cineleisure only takes you as high as the sixth floor. After that, you have to take the elevators to the higher floors. YES, Cineleisure has more than six floors people. Hahaha, I didn't know that initially, until I went to the kbox there. Okay, that was not the point, the point is, Hamie thought the escalators would take us all the way to the our theatre level. I had suggested we take the lift after we purchased our tickets but she wanted to take the escalator. So I was like, 'okay', and just followed 'cos I didn't know what floor the escalators ended at. >o< Hahaha. So we took the escalator up to sixth floor and realised that there weren't any more escalators. So we still had to take the lift in the end. Hahaha. :P

That was not the end.

Upon reaching our theatre level, we discovered that there was actually an arcade there! and a sort of LAN space. The arcade was pretty cool, from our perspective. haha. After we showed our tickets and everything, we entered the theatre and tried to find our seats. The first thing I saw after finding our seats was a couple sitting on the outside of the row. (Ours were in the centre.) So then, we had to squeeze through the couple and sit down. Seated comfortably, I tried to put my drink on my right side where they always had a drink holder. To my surprise, it was occupied! Then I turned to my left side to find another drink holder only to find nothing. Not even an armrest. Then I slowly realised that mine and Hamie's seat were combined, there was no separation between the two. I was still wondering why is this seat like that. I mean, all my life I had two armrests whenever I watched a movie. Thus, I was left in puzzlement. To which, Hamie replied, 'this is a couple seat!'

Only then did I whip my head around really took notice of my surroundings wts. HAHAHA.

We just like laughed in bewilderment. I SWEAR we thought the seats we bought were normal ones! After the movie we still kept laughing about it lol. Another first time gone. HAHAHA. But it's okay 'cos it was also Hamie's first time. (Sounds wrong hahaha.)

We slowly strolled some distance away from Haji Lane and found Eazy Eazy Kitchen.

Mixed Berry Tart. It was unexpectedly nice although it looks creamy. But I can totally taste the mixed berries!

Their services was quite good too! They offered recommendations and asked if the food was good. Haha.

Friends Forever Waffle Ice Cream. (If I didn't remember wrongly.)

My banana smoothie. It's quite thick and full of flavour. Personally don't really like smoothies but I guess it's okay if it's only once in a while.

Halfway through, I thought of the bill and I was like, oh shit. 'Cos we both didn't have cash. And then my mind fast forwarded to either one of us walking back under the hot sun to find an ATM.

Thankfully, I spotted this.

Didn't bring cash? It's okay! That's what cards are for! ;)

Our total bill was only like $26? I think it's quite worth it since we were pretty full after that. (And considering cafes are quite expensive.) They do have a lot of other items on their menu that would be good for a proper meal too!

With full stomachs, we proceeded to Haji Lane~ Whereby we danced a little in public. HAHAHA. We can't waste the dance feels when they come right?
