I'm not being prejudiced or anything okay. ;P
Naturally, we also had national day celebrations in school. It was okay, I guess, except that the uniform groups could have performed better ? Anyway, the school gave us clappers and small flags like
these &
this.
This year's NDP song is called "One Singapore". Below~
When I first heard it, I could tell the difference between past years' NDP song and this year's. Where have the good old days gone where the songs were really nice and everyone would sing along. Like "Where I Belong" and "Reach Out for the Skies". Even when this year's NDP song was played in school, everyone was like "why is this song like that?". Not many people actually sang along. However, after I listened to it a couple of times, I started to think that this song was quite okay after all. Although it could not be compared to other songs, but this one had many people singing together, which really brings out the meaning of "One Singapore". I guess it's trying to show us that we should all stay united as that is how a country should be like. Haha, I'm going all SS and Lit.
After the celebration, Jacinth, Meli and I went to grab some food and we ended up at the Popular since there wasn't really anywhere we could go and we didn't want to go home so early. Then, we spent quite some time thinking on what to buy for lunch and headed home since we became bored already. After I reached home, I watched "Despicable Me 2"! Hahaha, it was kind of funny and really cute. Watched a korean variety show called "We Got Married" then got bored and ended up blogging.
I actually intended to sleep but, oh well. Somehow my plans keep on failing these days. God. Okay okay, I think I typed pretty much already. Sorry there aren't many pictures cause I'm just lazy like that.
Sayonara and I hope the Malays get lots of GREEN PACKETS and you all enjoy your holidays!
