Bye Year 2, Year 333???

Hello! So how's life for everyone?? I finally have a little time to breathe since it's the holidays!! I have been so busy since my last post since I had clinical postings to hospitals too. And exams followed... So that explains the lack of posts. Now I'm back!! So here's what went on during the missing time...

End of projects
Celebrated the end of projects after 4 hardcore projects. We definitely gave our best in every one. This combination worked out quite well after all haha. and I think I put in the more effort than I did in other teams. Sure, it was stressful, but good stress to keep us going and be on edge thanks to an awesome group leader. No sarcasm. Wouldn't mind having the same group back?? hahaha. Haven't said this since my first group in Year 1 Sem 1. really appreciated everyone's efforts. ^^ Year 2 Sem 2 Sub-group 4! Jjang~
Perfect shot after much disturbance... Scroll down to see haha.
 Last day of school
And yeap, had our last day of school early again but ughhhh I was late lolol. Missed my chance for SBL as a result. But all's well. Ended with group photos with our supportive Nursing Lab teacher Ms Emily!(:
Very grateful to her for coaching us and even providing extra lessons after school to supervise our practice.

Changed into our own clothes straight after that and went on a celebratory lunch with my favourite clique and a few other classmates at Fish & Co.
I kenna slapped??? !! ashdskn. Nahh, just an example of stupid stuff we do to each other. But no, really, like abuse eh. Hahaha.
Somehow my expression is weird haha.
Sorry, the photos are not in order because it's not taken by me and I just put them according to how they were sent in WA.
Blackball
Finally had my virgin try of blackball!! Loveee their matcha balls, everyone should try it. Had it on the day when I went out with Si Xuan and Xin Yi to have dinner at Beauty World. Fortunately I could make it because it was a long time since I saw Si Xuan haha. After dinner we headed to Lot One where we had this!! Ps, I can't remember when was this but definitely before clinicals started.

Selfies while taking DT line to meet them haha. it's everyday that I make up after all.
Group photo!

KK Women's and Children's Hospital
Had an exhausting 2 weeks of clinicals at KKH after 1 week at NUH because it was soooo extremely far. I had to wake up at 4 am plus for morning duty. Tell me how it's not exhausting. I was so thankful that I didn't have CCA for the month of February if not I really would've have died. During those 2 weeks, I came to a very certain conclusion that I do not see myself working at KKH in future. I felt like I couldn't interact with kids better or handle troublesome parents. In any case, I felt like this area wasn't suited for me.
Was definitely relieved when clincials ended which meant the end of me waking up so extremely early. Come on, everyone's still sleeping when I'm awake. But, can't be too happy too early because there's round 2 of KKH in March. T.T I wanna cry. Still, I gained new knowledge about pediatrics's health during this clinical posting. The ward staff were quite friendly too and met some really nice PRCP students who helped me haha. Which also reminds me that that will be what I'll be like in Year 3. T.T Lastly, thanks to our CI Mama Sim who taught us so much about topics regarding children's health and sharing her own nursing experiences.

Literally my first selfies in my nursing uniform.

Went for a movie date at Cineleisure to watch The Boy, which a really creepy movie rather than scary. Regretted not bringing extra bottoms because look what my movie date was wearing (on the left). It's okay, because I'm still rockin' my outfit haha.
Had dinner at Charlie Brown Cafe and their food was surprisingly good despite a few mediocre reviews I heard about it. Though some of the items are on the pricey side. But it's worth it because it satisfied my tummy well. So thumbs up!

This basically summed up most of the time. Hope you enjoyed reading!

xx
